Build This Cordwood Rack

Only  $8.95

After you are done cutting and splitting your wood for the year you need  a nice dry place to put it.

For years I would stack  my firewood and then cover it with a $10 tarp. I would go out and brush the snow off the top and the snow would fall to my feet further burying  the wood. Then I would pull the tarp back, It would be frozen to the wood and would  rip as I tugged at it. Getting my wood was a real hassle that is until I built this rack.

This rack is very simple to construct and can be built in an afternoon. Best of all it is very inexpensive to make.

The lower rails hold your wood off the ground. The side rails keep your pile from falling down and the upper rails hold your kindling wood. Having a roof keeps the snow from your feet area.

Simply put - Its a frame for your $10 tarp. Build the frame cover it with a tarp- so simple

Once built it can be moved easily near your doorway making the night runs to the woodpile much easier.

When spring comes -just move it near your garden and hang tomato plants from it.
